Sweet Spot Labs: Freshening Up for 2017

Happy New Year! Hope everyone’s 2017 is off to a fantastic start. This year, I have vowed to make healthier choices and be more active. I wasn’t very good at this all of 2016, and I realize that old habits must change in order for me to sustain a healthy lifestyle in the long run. So, I’ve finally gotten myself off the couch and am now putting more effort into working out! Now I just need to see how long I can last. But really though, my trip to Cabo is coming up in April and time is tiiiiicking. Time to stop staring at #bodygoals on Instagram and make my own body just that! Perfect timing had it — I was given some motivation to buckle down. With the opportunity to partner up with SweetSpot Labs, I’m able to stay fresh and clean during, in between, and after my workouts.

For those of you who have never heard of this brand, it is made by women, for women to stay fresh all day long — regardless of what they are doing. Taking care of my body also means paying attention to my hygiene in between my jog and ab workouts. SweetSpot Labs use natural ingredients to gently clean, hydrate, and soften your skin. The best part? Refreshing citrus scents (my fave!). Oh, and pretty packaging. Because let’s face it — appearances are everything when it comes to first impressions, right?

The two products I got to try include the Grapefruit Verbena Gentle Wash and the Grapefruit Verbena On-The-Go Wipes. Both of these smell heavenly! I love how versatile both of them are; they clean me up after an intensive workout and refresh me in between errands.

GRAPEFRUIT VERBENA GENTLE WASH

This gentle wash is bursting with crisp and clean citrus notes. Infused with coconut derived cleansers, this item is perfect to wash your sweet spot and your entire body. The emollient oils of apricot kernel & sunflower work together with panthenol to soften and smooth the skin as you wash. I have been using this cleanser religiously on my entire body in the shower after coming home from the gym or a morning jog.

  24. Happy new year love! I definitely plan to lead a healthier lifestyle and get moving more often. I also kinda fell shorter than I planned for 2016. I love the sound of these products! Citrus scents are definitely the best. I actually started using cleansing wipes near the end of 2016 and fell in love with them. They’re the best!!

  26. These products seem absolutely lovely and I LOVE these shots of you, they’re so much fun. What I don’t get is the part “made by women for women”. Who’s to say I’m not in need of all these products, haha. But then again, I’ve never looked that much on the gender labelling when it comes to products, but have used stuff that goes with my skin instead 🙂

  38. Loving all of these photos! These sound amazing. I want to smell them – the scents all seem so refreshing and good! I love a sweaty workout, but sometimes I prefer to rush home and shower there, so the wipes would be perfect for post work-out on the ride home. .Thanks for sharing!

  52. These all sound like such amazing products! Only thing that would possibly worry me are those wipes. I am VERY sensitive (like abnormally sensitive) to anything scented down there. I wish I could use stuff like this and not have a reaction. Thanks for sharing these products with us!

    1. Oh noo! Sorry to hear about your sensitivity! I actually mostly use the wipes on my body after a workout in sweat-prone areas like arm pits, boobs, sometimes my back. I’ve also used them on my face and so far no breakouts or reactions, so I think it’s fairly good for sensitive skin but then again I’m not sure how my skin measures with yours in terms of sensitivity.

  66. Babe, first of all, if I had your shape, I would probably not workout (like ever!!!) – you look smashing gorgeous & fit!!! 🙂 Nevertheless, I know exactly what you mean! I have been slacking off big time in 2016 with lots of food and very little physical activity. Now with the start of the new year I have reached that point when I am like: “Enough is enough”. I didn’t have a very good start of the year and have been binging & not moving much but every day is a clean slate. I am going to put my all & stick to it this time!!!!! 😀
    Love the fun photos & the product does sound super nice and refreshing!! I couldn’t do without my Garnier micellar water. Super easy, super affordable & it works wonders 🙂
    Where in Cabo are you going to? We went there as a part of our honeymoon and it was sooooo amazing!

    1. Lol I am realllly bad about working out 🙁 even now it takes a lot for me to get active lol! I complain about even having to walk the dog LOL! So it really is a goal for me to get better at that not to only look better but to feel better internally! Health is so important and as we get older fitness becomes more essential. Hopefully both of us will be good about eating proper foods and getting enough activity in each day this year! 🙂 We’re in this together!

      I have not heard of Garnier’s micellar water — what does it do? I will have to look into it next time!
