As a hopeless romantic, I’ve always loved California sunsets and am so lucky to share my life with a photographer who appreciates location scouting (and therefore, seeing sunsets) with me! We haven’t shot too much during the golden hour, but with summer coming to a close, we definitely want to take advantage of late sunsets before the days get shorter.
I’m wearing some of my latest faves from American Eagle (see more that I’m coveting in this blog post). I had been looking for a light knit sweater to wear out on chilly California evenings & was stoked to find this one on the sale rack — last one and in my size! Talk about good luck 😉 I really love that this sweater isn’t too long like a lot of knit sweaters can be. It even has a hint of sparkle sewn into it <3
Ever since I first laid my eyes on these denim shorts, I’ve been wearing them almost everyday (let’s just say, the days I don’t wear them, are the days they are in the wash… haha). They are super comfortable & can be thrown on with pretty much any top. I can be picky with ripped denim because depending on where the rips are, they can look awkward. This isn’t the case for these shorts, and more importantly, I love that the rips don’t go crazy in the wash (they pretty much look the same after washing, even when I don’t put it in a net)! I didn’t buy these naturally rolled up, but depending on my mood I’ll roll the bottoms up for a change 🙂
