Festival vibes have been strong, especially this weekend with my Instagram feed filled with adventures from Coachella weekend 1! Instead of joining in on the madness, I stuck around LA and went to brunch and flea market shopping with my blogger-friend Linda of Kangthropologie. We had a blast! Even though I’m not too into music festivals and huge crowds, I do love dressing up like I’m going to one.
Last week, we established that I love paisley print. Today, I’ve managed to put together a new look with paisley print AND another current style fave: BELLS! Bells are perfect for festival season and spring in general.
Bell bottoms have been on my hit-list lately because they are so lengthening on the legs. These ones from Forever 21 are super comfy and stretchy — I could be in them all day long. Even though they are long pants, they aren’t too thick and are pretty breathable. This pair can be worn with all sorts of crop tops, but I couldn’t resist wearing it with a bell-sleeved tie-front top. Talk about bells for days!
In addition to paisley and bells, I’ve also been a die-hard fan of fringe. I got this fringe bag last summer and still love it as much as the day I got it! I came across this gorgeous white fringe choker with a beautiful amethyst stone by Crafturday and had to get it to complete the look. The whole look is effortless and cool, and with a fedora and black booties, I’m ready to tackle any music festival. 😉
