Even though fall is near, I haven’t abandoned my summer favorites yet. Those of you who know me know that I’ll wear a skirt or shorts over pants any day. This lovely patchwork a-line skirt from Abercrombie was on sale, and I had to snatch it in my size! It caught my eye because it has all the perfect fall colors — tan, burgundy-brown, and olive green. These are my favorite colors to wear in fall — along with white, black, and grey. This embroidered top from Hollister featuring delicate hints of orange paired with the skirt is a match made in heaven. I don’t know about you, but it gets me in the mood for Thanksgiving! 🙂
Okay, so when I said that I got this skirt in my size, I lied. It’s a size 0, and it feels around two sizes too big on me. Oh, the struggles of being a 23-inch waist. That’s the real reason why I’m wearing a thin belt to cinch the waist tighter… but let’s just pretend I never told you that! It’s totally an intentional style addition… 😉 Anyway, I really liked the skirt, but wasn’t able to locate any 00’s on the racks. Despite this, I’m still pretty happy with my purchase. I look forward to wearing it with over-the-knee boots when it cools down! 🙂
I recently got this pretty burgundy shoulder bag from ElleJay from their fall collection. It’s so perfect for the new season and goes perfectly with this autumn-themed outfit. In the second to last photo, I’m wearing the newest addition to my ring family: a lizard-dragon ring! I stumbled across it at Hobby Lobby, and it also happened to be a reptile mom/friend’s birthday, so I bought two; one for her and one for myself, of course! It’s completely adorable and I haven’t seen anything quite like it anywhere else!
