Nouveau Western Vibes for this Festival Season

styleandco

Who is excited for Coachella coming up? This festival season, I can’t say no to bell sleeves, off-the-shoulder tops, sketched florals, and embroidered denim. I have teamed up with Macy’s and Style & Co. to create and share with you a fun Spring look with a “nouveau western” theme. Even though I’m not one to rave about festivals, this reminded me of how much I love the desert life. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Style & Co., it’s a line exclusively available at Macy’s that offers a ton of trendy everyday casual staples at affordable prices.

I picked up a classic pair of blue jeans, a floral-embroidered denim jacket, and a mixed-floral print off-the-shoulder blouse all for around $100! This blouse stole my heart as soon as I saw it. Thanks to the elastic scrunch on the neckline, the top can be worn on or off the shoulder. I absolutely love the bell sleeves and how it flares out at the hem line ever so slightly. It’s really the little things that make a unique outfit! This top totally screams Coachella as it’s loose and airy — perfect for a hot day out in the desert. I have a crazy addiction for denim jackets and probably have too many to count in my wardrobe right now. What’s one more, right? This one pairs beautifully with the reddish-orange floral top and a classic blue jean.

There is seriously no such thing as over-the-top when it comes to accessories during festival season. With that said, I decided to top the outfit off with some of my favorites: classic gold bangles, layered chokers, and a shoulder bag with tassel zippers.

If you’re attending a music festival this year, you’ll definitely want to wear comfortable shoes. I recently discovered this lovely pair of sandals by Marc Fisher that I’ve fallen deeply in love with! It’s in a pinkish-nude color, which makes it easy to style with just about any spring/summer look. It features a slight heel to add just enough height without sacrificing comfort, which is huge for me. One thing to note about these though, is that they seem to run a bit big. I’m normally a 7.5-8 and ordered a 7.5 but they are surprisingly loose! The 7 would have fit me perfectly. At the end of the day though, I decided to keep the 7.5 because it’s roomy and still provides all-day comfort.
