***Special thanks to Lord & Taylor for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.***
Since many of you seemed to have enjoyed my last lookbook for Lord & Taylor (thank you for all the love!), I wanted to let you all know about their amazing friends & family sale going on right now! They are currently offering 30% off regular, sale, and clearance items (exclusions apply). I don’t know about you, but I’m always up for a good sale. Lord & Taylor carries many of my favorite brands like BCBG Max Azria, Free People, and Marc Fisher, to name a few. Not only do they have a variety of labels, they also offer a plethora of styles & accessories. Long story short? They are literally a one-stop destination for just about everything you would need in your closet. Coachella is fast approaching, and I have partnered up with Lord & Taylor again to share with you a festival-inspired head-to-toe look!
In addition to blush pink, I’ve been really loving coral lately. This Jessica Simpson blouse comes in white and coral. I opted for coral because it’s one of those colors that go beautifully with just about any skin tone. You just can’t go wrong! Personally, I love that it brings out a nice glow for me. The bell-sleeve trend will never get old in my book. With that said, the sleeves alone had me sold! This is my first top that has cut-outs around the shoulders to show off a bit of skin. This is a trend I have been back and forth on for quite some time, but I couldn’t resist this time because it just screams major Coachella vibes!
This top pairs beautifully with white denim shorts. It’s a bonus if they have some distressing. These DL1961 Karlie shorts feature a boyfriend fit with a bit of stretch. If you’re like me and want to show more legs, they can easily be rolled up for an effortlessly chic look. I love wearing white shorts because they make my legs look nice and tan as I build up my super tan in time for summer.
No festival-inspired outfit is complete without accessories! When I think of festival fashion, I often envision layered chokers, body jewelry, and flower crowns. For this look though, I decided to keep it pretty low-key because there’s already quite a bit going on with the top — between the cut-outs, bell-sleeves, and the overall design of it. I did, however, opt for a little round shoulder bag by ELLE & JAE. Believe it or not, this is my first round shaped bag so I was stoked to add this one to my collection! I absolutely adore the colorful tassels on it. As soon as I saw it on L&T’s website, I knew it was perfect for every Coachella go-er this year! It’s small enough to carry the bare essentials like your phone, credit card, some cash, and your keys.
Last but not least, comfortable shoes. This one is a MUST if you’re attending any music festival this year. The last thing you want is to wear heels that will sink right into the grass or sandals that won’t protect your feet from getting super dirty by the end of the day. Or simply worse yet, uncomfortable shoes. The Adalyne platform wedges by Marc Fisher have been on my wishlist for who knows how long now. Needless to say, I was so excited beyond words to finally slip my feet in them! If you’re looking for height without sacrificing comfort, these bad boys are for you! They are seriously super comfortable to walk in, and I love how confident they make me feel.
Are there any wishlist items you’re excited to get during Lord & Taylor’s friends & family sale?
