The gingham trend. If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’ve seen it everywhere by now. To be honest, I was never too crazy about this trend until I discovered the perfect romper by Maison Jules. Now, I can’t get enough of it! Not only does this little number fit perfectly, I found the gingham to be quite cute and fitting to the whole Palm Springs vibe. With fourth of July right around the corner, this romper will surely turn heads! Just top the look off with a hat for sun protection (but really, for style) and a statement bag… and you’re set 😉
While shopping a couple weeks ago, I came across this super adorable pineapple bag by Betsey Johnson and could not get my eyes off of it. I don’t even like eating pineapples but ever since getting my pineapple pool float, I’ve just been drawn to all things pineapple. I love the pop of color it gives my outfit. You can never have too much color in the summer!
Some of you asked me how my hair turned out after I washed it last weekend. It’s hard to explain but it’s definitely not purple anymore! In some lighting, it is more like a faded silver and in others it’s a light blue. Really not sure how blue came about because the shampoo I used is clearly purple! Let’s just say that I’m no pro when it comes to hair, and I prefer everything to be low maintenance. Some of the blonde is starting to peek through, too. At this point, I think I’m ready to wash off the color completely and go back to blonde. I am on hold for a modeling gig next week and they’re expecting me to not look like a total unicorn, so I guess it’ll work out. It was totally fun while the purple lasted! I definitely recommend giving fashion colors a try this summer if you haven’t already. If you’re iffy about it, just think about it this way: it’s a once in a lifetime experience and will fade back to blonde!
