Happy December! I never post on weekends BUT had to make an exception today because it’s my birthday! I can’t believe I’m a quarter century old now. Where did year 24 go?! It sucks thinking about getting older because I literally have the biggest fear of aging (anyone else out there with me on this one? Haha). Obviously, I have mixed feelings about turning 25.
When I was younger, I would always whine to my parents about wanting to be an adult so I could be done with school and have more freedom. Now that I’m an adult, I want to reverse time and be young again. On the bright side though, birthdays are just the perfect excuse to splurge on some giant gold balloons and get dressed up… so here I am! 😉
For those of you who read my Great Gatsby post a month ago and asked about the blue dress I actually wore to my cousin’s wedding, this is it! The famous $20 dress that I scored at Burlington Coat Factory. I felt like such a pro shopper that day.
It has gotten unusually gloomy and cold in LA recently. With that said, I’m a little bummed that there weren’t more bright colors in the sky to really make these photos pop out more like how I usually like them to. Oh, well. Just some quick photos celebrating the big 2-5!
As far as celebrations go, my best friend Claire and I had a nice girl’s night out two nights ago. It was definitely some much-needed girl time. We grabbed some drinks and then headed to The Spa on Rodeo in Beverly Hills to get our nails done together. Then, she took me out to eat ramen because it was fuh-reeeeezing and we just wanted some comfort food. Our conversations always go on forever and soon before we knew it, it was already 1 am.
Today, I’ll be keeping it low-key and just spending some quality time with David. Since we’ve been major insomniacs (me more so than him), we don’t have solid day plans… that I know of. But, we’re definitely planning on having a nice dinner and hopefully, taking a quick social media break. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! xo
What’s everyone doing the first weekend of December? 🙂
