Photo Diary Part 6: The Grand Canyon, Arizona

This is quite possibly my favorite photo diary yet! We had a really great time at The Grand Canyon in Arizona. The colors were stunning, despite how things are “dead” in the winter. I managed to get a lot of great shots of the amazing scenery even on my phone, and learned to use a selfie stick to not only take selfies but also to reach down deeper to get photos of the crack formations and crevices of the canyon, without losing my phone (lol)! 🙂

Despite how sunny it was, it was still pretty cold and snowy in some parts. We stayed the whole day there and witnessed a stunning fiery sunset. I’m curious to see what this place looks like in the spring/summer, and hope to make our way back to see it again since we bought an annual national park pass. Stay tuned for my last photo diary of our final stop on our road trip next week! xo

  1. The place looks so beautiful! A friend of mine bought sand from Grand Canyon once. It would be cool to actually be there. Someday 🙂 You and your guy looks cute!

    1. Thanks Alissa! The Grand Canyon is beautiful indeed. It was my first time out there and it was pretty cold with some snow on the ground; I would love to go visit again when it’s warm and everything’s more colourful again! You should definitely visit if you’re in the United States one day 🙂 xo

  2. Isn’t the Grand Canyon just stunning? I love it there so much. It’s so incredibly vast and so difficult to fathom just how big it really is… like it feels as if it’s a painting half the time, doesn’t it? I’m glad you guys enjoyed it so much despite the cold 🙂 Arizona sunsets are just the best, too. They’re always so vivid with beautiful colors. I feel like I just revisited the Grand Canyon looking through your photos 🙂 Thanks for the daydream, haha! Can’t wait to see the next part of your trip!

    1. Yes! My boyfriend and I talked about going again when it’s warmer and hopefully more colorful! We got an annual national park pass, so need to make good use of it 😉
