If there’s a trend that I’ve recently jumped on board with, it would be the athleisure trend. Think a loose tee that can be either casually tucked in or knotted up to show some extra skin, coupled with a pair of comfy joggers and airy slip-ons. This month, I have been given the opportunity to work with Macy’s and Ideology to style this pair of heather grey joggers for their #LifeOnTheGo campaign. I’m always on the lookout for good activewear lines that also have pieces ideal for everyday casual wear. Sort of like how everyone’s suddenly walking out in their pajamas like it’s the next hot trend! For me, it’s these joggers.
Nowadays, with a dog and two lizards around the house, the last thing I want to do is wear my favorite pair of designer jeans only for them to get destroyed. The perfect alternative would be something that is affordable but still of great quality, all the while being light and airy. These joggers are just $35 at Macy’s now, and I absolutely love them. The fit is just right on me, and they can be worn on just about any occasion. Whether I’m lounging at home watching TV, working out, or walking my dog at the beach, these exude effortless style in comfort! They can literally be worn from day to night, so it’s safe to say that I’ve been practically living in them since they’ve made their debut into my wardrobe.
We finally took S’mores out to the beach for the first time last week! It was a bit chilly but I think he enjoyed it. We got a good amount of exercise in for the day and then stuffed our faces in gourmet burgers. Needless to say, the joggers did a fantastic job accommodating my pre- and post-indulging body. There’s really nothing better than pants that move with you! Someone asked me to describe my personal style in my last Q&A post. While “girly” was what came to mind quickly, I’ve been really digging the more sporty look these days, too! I think I’ll be incorporating that into some of my looks from now on 🙂
What’s a trend that you’ve been loving or are dying to experiment with lately?
