Swoon-Worthy Sweaters Under $100

_dsc9392-1600

The weather here in LA has been super bipolar lately! David’s best friend came to visit us last weekend from Utah, and he literally experienced all of LA’s weather conditions in just 3 days. It was super hot and humid one day, cool and cloudy the next, and then raining the morning we took him to the airport! I’m normally not a fan of rain, but it’s definitely gotten me excited for sweater weather. There’s nothing more comforting than sitting in front of a fireplace (or in my case, a couple wood-wick candles) cozied up in a soft sweater or oversized cardigan.

I’ll be visiting the Bay this weekend and it always seems to be much colder over there this time of year, so I’m stoked to finally wear my new sweaters. The wonderful thing about sweaters is that they come in all different styles, lengths, and textures — it’s hard to get bored of them. They can be creatively layered, and worn with a variety of bottoms ranging from classic denim to skater skirts.

Looking to update your sweater collection? Here are 24 sweaters under $100 that I’m currently swooning over!

As December gets closer, I’m on a lookout for a cute ugly sweater (oh, the irony!) to wear to casual holiday parties. So, if you know of any places I can find a good one, I’d love to hear about them in a comment below! xx

Do you have a favorite sweater? How do you like to style it?

  1. I love the one you are wearing in this post! Great picks for the affordable sweaters. And the weather in Texas is the same way – hot and cold. I believe this is a global thing this year? 🙂

Love reading your post as always, Sharon!

    1. Thank you, Jo! The one I’m wearing is actually one I snagged from the sale racks at an American Eagle last year so I’m afraid we wouldn’t be able to find it anywhere now 🙁 It is a super cute and cozy sweater and I was really lucky to have gotten the last in that style and in my size! Usually that never happens because I’m an XXS and that size tends to be first one out, not to mention sale racks… haha.

    1. I’m going to be there for a wedding (super quick trip) this Saturday and I totally feel like it’s going to be FREEZING to me just because I’ve been spoiled with such great weather here in LA lol!

  2. I could basically build an entire wardrobe on sweaters (and jackets and jeans and shoes and… oh screw this). I love how versatile they are and you can both dress up and dress down in them depending on your mood and the occasion! I could go on about sweaters forever, but instead I’ll point out how beautiful the one you’re wearing in the picture is, as are you! Such a gorgeous smile as well dear! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Adelina! I will have to look into ugly sweaters more but someone did say Target has good ones sometimes so I’ll have to check it out. xx

  13. Super cute! And the frugalness inside of me smiles at the fact that they are reasonably priced (if you live somewhere cold enough to rock them often). I wish SoCal Fall would finally show up 🙂

  14. How cute!! I adore sweaters!! You have some fabulous picks. I also love Ann Taylor for their sweaters. They huge, but non itchy and very comfy! NM weather is crazy like that too, sometimes covering several seasons in the course of the day!! We can have a hot morning, then a freezing afternoon. there isn’t any rhyme or reason lol
