Patched Up in Fall Colors

Even though fall is near,ย I haven’tย abandoned my summer favorites yet. Those of you who know me know that I’ll wear a skirt or shorts over pants any day. This lovely patchwork a-line skirt from Abercrombie was on sale, and I had to snatch it in my size! It caught my eye because it has all the perfect fall colors — tan, burgundy-brown, and olive green. These are my favorite colors to wear in fall — along with white, black, and grey. This embroidered top from Hollister featuring delicate hints of orange paired with the skirt is a match made in heaven. I don’t know about you, but it gets me in the mood for Thanksgiving! ๐Ÿ™‚

Okay, so when I said that I got this skirt in my size, I lied. It’s a size 0, and it feels aroundย two sizes too big on me. Oh, the struggles of being a 23-inch waist. That’s the real reason why I’m wearing a thin belt to cinch the waist tighter… but let’s just pretend I never told you that! It’s totally an intentional style addition… ๐Ÿ˜‰ Anyway, I really liked the skirt, but wasn’t able to locate any 00’s on the racks.ย Despite this,ย I’m still pretty happy with my purchase. I look forward to wearing it with over-the-knee boots when it cools down! ๐Ÿ™‚

I recently got this pretty burgundy shoulder bag from ElleJay from their fall collection. It’s so perfect for the new season and goes perfectly with this autumn-themed outfit. In the second to last photo, I’m wearing the newest addition to my ring family: a lizard-dragon ring! I stumbled across it at Hobby Lobby, and it also happened to be a reptile mom/friend’s birthday, so I bought two; one for her and one for myself, of course! It’s completely adorable and I haven’t seen anything quite like it anywhere else!

Patchwork Skirt – Abercrombie & Fitch

What are you looking forward to most in fall?

    1. Hi Eva! Thanks for stopping by! The skirt is super cute, so I had to make an exception of my “don’t buy it unless it fits perfectly” rule. I’ll probably get it tailored soon so that I can wear it comfortably without a belt in fall ๐Ÿ™‚ xoxo

    1. Right?! I was quite surprised to see it at Abercrombie of all places, and in the sale rack too! It’s such a perfect fall staple, especially in LA because it doesn’t usually get too cold in fall here (or so I hope this year!). I definitely plan on wearing it with over the knee boots and a sweater in fall ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s a struggle having a tiny waist — I actually never work out so I’m not sure why I’m not getting fat. I swear I’m eating and being a couch potato during the day ๐Ÿ˜› Thanks for stopping by sweetie <3 xo

    1. Thank you Felicia! So glad that we can relate! I love summer so much as well and quite frankly, fall and winter aren’t too exciting to me… though they have their perks. For example, I miss wearing over the knee boots and cute sweaters. It’s still too hot in LA to be wearing those right now, but in the mean time I’m totally enjoying being able to wear shorts and tanks all the time ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for reading hun <3
