It’s hard to believe that fall is finally here — it’s still pretty warm here in the desert but we had a massive rain and windstorm a couple weekends ago which resulted in a nasty flood. Luckily right before the storm hit, we were able to capture this whimsical transitional summer-to-fall look with the dramatic pre-storm clouds in the background!
Regardless of the season, a timeless watch is a must for me. I got the wonderful opportunity to style this classic white watch by Parmigiani Fleurier, and absolutely love that it goes with just about anything I choose to wear. This fall, I’m wearing this iconic beauty from Parmigiani Fleurier’s Kalpa collection with a lot of pastels and neutral colors in my wardrobe.
Launched in 2009, the Kalparisma is the first Parmigiani Fleurier collection of mechanical watches made for the elegant woman. It features the classic tonneau-shaped case, which is a fundamental element of the brand’s visual identity. I am a sucker for feminine pieces that stay in style for years, and this investment piece is no exception! I can definitely see myself wearing it during my lifetime, with both casual and formal styles depending on the occasion.
This timepiece features automatic movement, a white mother-of-pearl dial with rose gold plated appliques, and an 18 carat rose gold casing. The precious mother-of-pearl illuminates the piece with soft reflections. Depending on the angle, the play of light created elicits a mesmerizing depth. The white calf leather band is Hermés, and the ardillon buckle accommodates a plethora of wrist sizes including those with tiny wrists who usually struggle to find watches that fit!
The Kalpa collection offers a plethora of classic styles for both men and women. As the holiday season approaches, I can depend on this investment piece to seamlessly take me from day to night regardless of the occasion. A Parmigiani Fleurier timepiece makes the perfect gift for that someone special in your life too! 😉
What would you wear this Kalparisma beauty with this fall?
