Beach days, picnics, tropical getaways… wherever you’re headed this summer, straw bags are classic staples in every fashionista’s closet — especially for the warmer months upon us. They add plenty of personality and fun flair to even the simplest looks. Recently, I bought two new straw bags (girl’s gotta treat herself after all the stress with moving)! Specifically, I got one in a tote style which you may have seen in my last blog post, and a slouchy one that can be worn as a shoulder bag or a backpack depending on the occasion! For this look, I’m wearing it as a shoulder bag π

I love that this slouchy straw bag can be styled with just about any summery outfit. The pink stripes and rope-style handle help to add color and texture to my look, even though it’s subtly so. For a picnic date out with my love and two doggos, I wore a basic white crop top with a pair of printed palazzo pants for a splash of color. The bag is roomy enough to carry my everyday essentials. To change up the look, the bag can be easily readjusted so that it becomes a lightweight backpack. Talk about versatility at its finest! I can never say no to two bags in one. On top of the two bags I’ve added into my wardrobe this season, I also have a few more on my purchase list. Particularly, I’ve been crushing madly on the round rattan straw bag that’s been everywhere!
